Due to the highly addictive nature of these medications, we have a strict practice policy not to issue them unless in exceptional circumstances. Please do not embarrass our staff by asking for these drugs. Repeat offenders may eventually be removed from the practice list. These drugs have a street value and are used by drug misusers. If you do take them make sure they don’t fall into the wrong hands. Patients who are taking these drugs regularly will be encouraged to cut them down (slowly) and eventually stop them.
